A lot depends on if the crop can cool down at night. In my area 3-5 days of hot south winds can kill a crop. Also depends on how well the root system gets down into the soil profile. To wet a June can be a detriment because to corn roots don’t go into soil profile deep enough before tassel. Timing of rains are very important.
