Subject: Air downpressure & leaks...

South central, Nebraska
Have a new to me but used JD drill that has air bags for down pressure. Seems like a convenient setup. There are valve arrangements on the little air compressor that allows two air pressures to be used. The bags on non tire rows and the bags for tire track rows can be adjusted accordingly.

You set pressure for each set and close the valves but with so many fittings just very very slow leaks cause the system to drop pressure. I installed a valve to cut out the air loss back through the air compressor but there are many sloooow leakers on the air lines and slip fittings.

Is there a way to get these fittings to seal up on plastic air lines. It isn't a very old drill. I wouldn't think it needs replumbed already?
