I am a firm believer in not having any cash around if you have debts. You can pay off the land and just have a line of credit at the bank when you need it.
Personally I pay down land whenever I have any extra money. If I have to barrow some more on my operating loan a few months later at least I went 3 months with out having to pay interest while money sat in the bank.
Which real estate debt would you pay down first?
