Do not leave 10-34-0 in the pump. You will have more to clean out of the lines come next year. If it is a John Blue pump, they recommend, as mentioned above, a 50:50 mix of diesel and oil and let it sit in the pump. Be sure to open the pump to the maximum stroke for cleaning with water and then adding the 50:50 mix to fill the pump. We've added a cut off on the exit side as well as the supply side to close once we get the mix in the pump to insure it doesn't drain leaving air in the pump. The will help to avoid rust for any non-stainless components.
