Nwmo
We have a c12 430 hp with 800,000 + miles on it and it hasn't been overhauled but has had several turbos and water pumps put on. According to most mechanics around here the engine is over do by about 200,000 miles. Would cost between $6000 - $9000 for Cat approved overhaul. Ours a has a lighting ten transmission which is a super 10 with auto shift on 9 and 10, in ours it seems like it needs to be wound up pretty tight to get you over the hills compared to our N14s at 370 hp. Extremely light truck though, its a daycab columbia and with a 40ft timpte hopper, it weighs about 23500 empty and me in it.
