Our Tall Bearded Irises have a large variance in size. Some of the blooms are around three times the size of the dwarf blooms (first picture), but other tall varieties are just slightly larger (second picture) than the Dwarf Irises pictured in the original post.
I have seen pictures of the Dwarf Irises planted in planters since their rhizomes need less room. I am planning to replant some of my dwarfs in planters later this year.
