NW Minnesota | Not really attached to old tractors, have too many around, still have his IH 706 german diesel that was bought new, the case 970 bought new also (only has 3200 hrs), the allis WD45, and the 55 Chevy stepside pickup. Won't regret it, it would be just one more thing sitting around that needed upkeep. I'm sure the grasshopper won't be around in 50 years, but I won't be either (I'm 35), and the 3-4 hours a week in time saved mowing will far outweigh the missed tractor syndrome. The seat not being original? I have no idea on that one, you mean the cover? Not sure on the building footings, the sheets are concreted in, they are maybe two feet or so total thickness, this is a fairfield? building, 40x60 built in 1976. As far as the shop floor, we just sweep up the majority and use the leaf blower to blow the dust the broom doesn't get. Tractor is for sale at Winger Implement, as of last friday it's another Titan dealership (number 66), in Winger, MN. |
