SE IL Mt.Erie, IL | Well in our neck of the woods ridges are for drainage purposes, lets us get in the field earlier. Has to have drainage sideways (unless snady ground then water will percolate) b/c ridges make their own naturally the other way. It will sure make a low spot show up big time in the field. Just make sure you have your tires (or tracks) in the bottom of the ridge, and keep the planter on top of them. | |
