They are more likely to experience close and extended contact with microorganisms in the soil" I don't think the author understands the MICRO part of microbes, I'll bet there's soil microbes in your lungs, eyes, ears, every square centimeter of skin, mouth, colon and everywhere in between every day a farmer is working with crops, feed, or machinery that's worked in fields. They don't seem to grasp that is the nature of microbes, not just the dirt under your fingernails from planting a seedling. | |
