Subject: RE: Laying tile in MUD?

Clinton County, Michigan
Wow its a small world. I was actually out there training on the AGPS grade control system that day. The good thing about the commercial sized tile plows like the Bron are they have a long track frame and low ground pressure. So the machine wasnt sinking in the mud that much and staying stable, so the quality of the tile grade will be fine. The tractors to haul the tile to the machine were having some trouble getting around though.
I was actually surprised that in your soil type having that much rain didn't make it so we couldnt work. That much rain in Michigan soaks in and gets sticky and slimy on top.
