1 hour east of ol cheyenne
That photo shows no waffle pattern on the engine block so now I am really confused. I did notice 65s with both short and tall front knees was this a year model thing or did they have a high crop one that sat taller?
Would the 85 engine fit in a 65 tractor?

Apparently they made the G176 engine with and without waffles on the side of the block. I guess if you like pancakes more than waffles you got the slab sided block. Or were the waffles added to later model engines to prevent block cracking??
Some have a small Ps reservoir and some have a large diameter one. Maybe they are like a jeep " there is only one" exactly like yours and that is yours.
