Driftless SW Wisconsin

Those are older JD Model 60 seed hoppers originally sold in the mid 90's with the 1760 planter as an option I believe.

This customer designed and built his entire mounted toolbar. It is quite a system. He uses rtk on the tractor but leaves the hitch loose and has steering on the planter bar also.

One of the nice things about helping to start up planters with the Gfx is  watching the look on customers' faces when you first turn the knob on our control box and they see the row units go up and down. Many times I see a smile from ear to ear (almost*) when they realize that they don't need to get up and down out of the tractor to adjust row cleaners any more!

With the tanks and everything on this planter it is a bit tough to get in and out of the cab and back to the row units esp in the center to adjust any sort of row cleaners.

(* = trying to be more precise as in "all" residue
