Why didn't you just get some reel type mowers and hook together? Then you only have the lawn tractor motor to maintain. Based on your tractors, looks like your mower brigade needs coordinating paint also.
I've tried the reel mower thing...I have a 6 foot one for sale if you're interested. I could cover a lot of ground, but my wife didn't like the cut, and I never had enough time to fiddle with setting it to cut better. Another problem was having to mow more often than I had time to. If the grass got too tall, the reel mower had a tougher time cutting it.
As for the paint, I don't know if I could paint that Deere mower. It looks better than the picture. |
