| Obviously South America is growing in acres every year. Overtaking the US in soy production 3-4 years ago. So the question that I have been pondering....are the chances at new record highs limited? If we have a short crop, no problem, SA will fill the gap 5 months later. If they have a short crop, no problem, the US will fill the gap. Odds/chances of both having a failure are sub 10%. Look at the supposed troubles they had this year......bam, another record soy crop evolved from it. Years ago, it revolves around US production. Now, not so much.
It does sound like their Safrina corn crop could be in serious trouble based off what I’ve seen and heard. But we hear the same thing about how dry their bean planting was and how wet the harvest was and how bad it was gonna be. We all know how it turned out. | |
