Within the first 10 seconds of turning the key to the on position (dont have to start it) hit/hold the "configure" button on the A-post. Then you should be able to select the "manual setup". From there you can tell the a-post/the tractor that you do have a color monitor installed. It may be throwing the computer off if it's being told it does not have one but then realizes one is hooked up.
I might be able to find a print out of the instructions if needed on the a-post configuration if you need.
Edit: added to hold the configure button until it goes into configure mode.
