Ignore this fool, he posts this everywhere. If your ELX relay was out, nothing would work.
Now, if you had the exact code, it would tell us if the machine was seeing an open wire situation, or a shorted wire situation, or a low or high resistance situation. That would help narrow down whether you have a bad wire, or if you need a solenoid.
