We furrow irrigate using polypipe. The irrigation is the main reason for all the work.  The ground I haven't run on looks smooth enough for planting just driving by but that paratill left the tops of the bed pretty rough. You might could have got by running some trash wheels of the front of the planter to smooth the top of the bed up some but if your threw to much soil in the middles that would have been a problem. Will probably pull a do-all over these beds to knock them down some before planting.
