My MT 535B challenger had the starter drive go bad. I had it rebuilt at Fred's electric in Lincoln Ne . It was around $150 from memory. Starter drive had to be replaced and he went thru the starter. They do good work. All my starters and alternators go there. Not sure where at in Kansas you are, but I'd look around for a rebuilder place. They are around, just got to search them out.
