NE IA | And as someone who across the county line in Winneshiek Co. and have a CAFO I also know that they are regulated much tighter than someone that has 250 hd of cattle in a lot. Any joe blow farmer can go out and dump piles and pile of N,P,K fertilizer on their field and the DNR or anti-ag wont blink an eye, now take a regulated amount of manure that can be spread out of a pit that is engineered to hold it and people lose their minds. To say its not anti-ag is just wrong. The same people that are calling these guys out for the amount of head under roof are the ones that put them under roof because they were standing in a dirt lot when it rained, you cant have it both ways. | |
