Have a cool-bot walk-in cooler here. It works very well, and holds a consistent 38 degrees through the summer. It is well insulated, including the floor and door. 1.5" extruded polystyrene on the door, and 3" everywhere else. It's located in an open-fronted but fully masonry garage, so the location is moderated in temperature through the hot days.
