North Central Iowa
I’ve been thinking about doing this myself (have a kinze planter and ez boom), but the question I’ve been having is where have people been physically wiring the relay output into the half width clutch wiring?

1. Opening the kinze fold/marker box and adding a couple wires and land on each side of clutch switch? Never had the box open. Easy to do and get a couple more wires in?

2. Cutting into the tractor side or planter side harness and teeing into the factory wiring harness to the clutches? Don’t really like this idea, but doable.

3. Running new wire all the way to the clutches, separate from the factory wire harness? Long route.

Then with that, where would be a good place to mount the relays? In cab, back of tractor, on on the planter? Probably depends on where you wire from the relays into the half width clutches.

I’ve read plenty of posts about the general wiring schematic and logic required, but never seen or heard where to place the relays and land the wiring to the clutches.
