Subject: 4640 Display and AB Curves

West Central Texas
Have a JD 4640 display that I mostly like except for the fact that it won't let me shift lines on ab curves on the fly, kicks the autosteer off when I hit a shift button. Tried a 4240 display when I purchased this GPS setup along with a 6000 receiver and whatever the newest ATU is. The 4240 did the same thing so I traded up with the understanding the 4640 would do what I wanted. It will shift ab curve lines at a dead stop but not moving. Still run a 1800 display in another tractor that will shift ab curve lines on the fly with no problem. Is this just how a 4640 works or is there something else going on? Straight ab lines shift on the fly with no problems. Forgot to mention I run SF3 on both tractors. TIA for any advice.
