Subject: Topdressing potassium sulfate on corn

Southeast Illinois
Thinking about topdressing potassium sulfate on foot tall corn. Just after side dressing 28%N. Has anyone done this? Is there any problems with leaf burn or damage to the whorl? This is long term no-till on light timber origin silt loam soils, typical for this area of southeast Illinois. Hard to build K levels on these low CEC soil types. Thanks in advance for your replies.
