Had a lot of that with mine this winter read on hear it is a mineral imbalance started feeding more mineral with iodine and iodine salt and iodine salt blocks started to see improvement in two weeks. Got it pertty well cleaned up before they got sold. Give it a try. Let me know if it helps.
