NW Iowa | I have Starkey rechargeable. They go in the charger when I go to bed and come back out when I get up in the morning. They can be recharged twice with the charger unplugged from the wall or the charger can be plugged into a cigarette lighter. I think it takes an Android type end. The only time the Hearing aides ran out of juice for me was when my son and I took a whirlwind trip to Oregon to buy a truck and drive it home to Iowa. For normal daily use a charge will last as long as I can stay awake in a day. I don't have any experience with Phonac. What I like best about the rechargeable aids is there is no battery running out at the most inopportune time and no more spare batteries in the glove box of every vehicle.
