Windows RDP is one thing they did well, one nice thing too is that you can copy and paste between remote desktops if you have multiple open and if using for VMs, when done, everything is the same the next time you login. I've never had noticeable lag and I connect to some thousands of miles away.
I did forget that it doesn't come on non-pro versions.
I've been running X2Go here for some years.
Have four machines run from one machine.
Would be challenging to see if its poorer in response.
Same software used in many computer science labs at the uni. |
