south east SD | We had a used 750-16. Then we bought a new 1000-20 with a 5 point scale and it has been wonderful. The only trouble was the 2 hydraulic hoses inside the tank to the slide door started to leak a little. They were probably to short from the factory plus a million bushels going in and out over them. Found them when washing the cart and just a slow leak, made them a little longer so they could sag a little.
The 5 point scale with auto-log is dead on once you get it set. Set ours new and it has never changed in 7 years, dead on.
With the auto-log it track every pound coming the field you set it on. We just hand that information to our crop insurance people with moisture and done. Again love it, makes reporting crops very easy.
Next new will be a J&M. Hear of troubles with a J&M and they address it themselves. Talking to a salesman our rep is less than a hour away. | |
