| First sign of swelling in your phone, get it to your favorite, reliable, cellphone repair place. Remember the Samsung G-7s that were discontinued and recalled? The first sign they were going to explode was severe swelling. The phone manufacturer could have a recall or a free replacement.
As previously noted by others, Rapid battery drain and excess heat is possibly due to a weak connection.
There is also a possibility of what programmers call a "stuck process" - when an app or program thinks it's been told to go pee in the corner of a grain bin, so it's continually looking for the corner so it can complete it's task and move on. But figuring out which process is stuck would be next to impossible. | |
