We moved back in November and I needed a new router  too.  I bought the Deco X60 by TP link.  It is mesh system with 3 nodes for good coverage of a larger home.  I haven't had a minutes worth of trouble in the 4 months that we've had it and the coverage is excellent. It was pretty easy to setup with an app on your phone.  We use it to stream tv to 4 tvs at onetime and surf the web.
