So if you’re setting this up with 4 cylinders extending to lift, and single acting, that would be .44 gallons, of your 1.5 gallon tank.

I assume you plan for much more than 8” mast lift. The leverage to get even 24” of travel out of the mast might require too much pressure with that cylinder. You have enough tank to go to 12” or even 24” lift cylinders single acting.
