| I’ve only ever used bottomless bunks.
My cattle don’t have to kneel to clean the box out. Calves or cows. Well, unless there’s too much space and some old boss cow decides she wants to clean up the far side of the box. I’m currently limit feeding them a grain and mineral package and they lick the ground clean. Mine are only 12-1400# cows though.
I’m sure they’d prefer the box be raised a foot but I don’t hear them complaining. | |
