Near-north Ontario, French River | I was thinking the same thing, number are much lower here in Canada, I think they said 1500 or so die every year from the 'common flu", so I guess i really dont understand what the big hub bub is about. Last I read there were 19 confirmed cases of swine flu in Canada, not deaths and to the best of my knowledge no one has even required hospitalization yet. To complicate things even more it appears this new swine flu can be easily treated with "tamiflu ", making all the disaster predictions even more confusing. |
