they say we can sign up for the ppp even without employees.
thinking this might be the offset for the cfap 3 ?
The way I understand it is cfap is ag specific money coming from the USDA. PPP is for all small businesses including farms. The first rounds of ppp money came through the small business administration (SBA). I assume the current ppp does too. We got first round ppp loan, that was forgiven,, and cfap. We milk 120 cows and were glad for the boost the way the milk prices have been! DFA is also only paying us full price for 87% of our base, created March 2020, payment on the other 13% has been anywhere from a dollar to $10 less. When we saw the amount we got from the government when doing taxes its hard to imagine where it all went, but then you look at the income from milk compared to previous years...... |
