Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Thanks for the link. I believe it is the wake up setting that I need to explore. I've never used a printer that has those choices. Apparently I can set the printers clock and have the printer "wake up" at a specified time so it would be ready to go when I usually need it. This would be very handy in an office that has a regular starting time. For me, who knows, I might not be able to sleep and start something at a strange hour.
Apparently when I power down and then power back up, I break the asleep mode and have been impatient in waiting for it to calibrate itself. Patience has never been a virtue of mine.
