West central missouri | You should be fine. Much better to bring them down slowly. The only problem with coming down slowly is there is more time for the weights to get lost. Several months is normal. Keep an eye on them in case they start to drop rapidly. That indicates the screw has eroded through the horn into the bone causing infection.
