Relax!!!!!!!!!

Last year I had PP check, but before that I hadn't cashed a insurance check since 2006.

I didn't have a claim in 2012 when most of the corn belt had huge losses.

This year spring price for fed crop is $4.59/bu. I can buy up ins. and PROTECT a profit!!!!!!!!!!

If it rains and I grow a crop GREAT!!!!!!!! I will combine corn and sell it.

I haven't heard anyone on here say they are FARMING the insurance. Just that it is looking dry and with the corn markets we can protect a profit!!!

Not many years of my farming career I can remember where I could be covered and have NO stress all summer wondering if it is going to rain.

Going back to 2006, that was 14 years between getting paid a claim. That borders on the edge of WHY PAY FOR INSURANCE IF I NEVER USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
