Quebec, Canada | I was looking at getting the wheelman pro for my farm, but decided to try building my own AgOpenGpS system just to see if I can. I’ve called the Wheelman support line and they seem pretty knowledgeable and helpful.
The main thing to keep in mind is that dealer support is limited to email and phone so you need to be comfortable installing the system on your own. They have some good Youtube videos walking through how the installation goes. Looks like the hardest part is getting the steering wheel off (not an issue for the Flexx system though).
I think it is a great product for tillage, spreading manure and fertilizer, etc. If you are thinking about adding section control to your planter/sprayer you might want to look at an system that does it all. | |
