Central Iowa | Moving to a high speed planter with intentions to run at 7.5 to 8mph max. Currently have an Integra with ONtrac 2+ runnning RTK that has done well for me in the past running 5.5 to 6.0 with standard planter. Running it on a Deere 8420. I really want to keep the mobility option of the ontrac type system where i can move to another tractor if needed. Just wondering if i'll be able to run that fast with that setup? What type of performance would Steer Command offer vs. ontrac 2+. I'd be willing to buy Steer Command/In Command just to have the option to move to other units.
Any recommendations?
