It's not money, has nothing to do with Gold or Russia. In fact China has the largest Bitcoin miners (computer banks) and I bet there are plenty in Russia too.
By the definition an Asset can never be an illusion.
The real question is, is Bitcoin an Asset? It's definitely not an illusion.
