Subject: Model T Ford Driving

Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463
On the floorboard - A reverse pedal
And a low pedal

Also the brake pedal

And a parking brake lever. By the drivers side door, if it had a drivers side door, many did not

The engine speed is controlled via the small levers by the steering wheel. One for speed, the other spark advance.

The ‘Foot Feed’, what is now called the accerator, was not in Ford vehicles until the Model A

Back in the 80s and 90s I was amazed by the number of older fellows who said they use to drive a Model T and still knew how - That could not do it.

The picture is myself by Dad’s T.

After Dad died it was sold to the father in law of one of the grand daughters.
Near Burt Iowa.
