southern MN | Not being in the hog industry, I’m starting to lose track of what disease is where any more, there seem to be so many. I guess I’m getting the poultry virus getting mixed along in, then the human virus. Can’t keep up. Locally we had something affect baby pigs years ago, then we had something affect barns full of poultry not to long ago, then China had something affect a big percent of their hogs.
Is this a continuation of what devastated the China herd a couple years ago? Simply some left over infection hot spots, or a new wave running through the country all over again, or....
