Why seed oats? Tt prices today, barley , wheat and corn are a better bang for your buck. Unless you need some for horses or looking at an optional cash crop, no money in feeding them.
I plant some every couple of years for feed for hutch calves. Also I need the straw. works well for 2 uses for me. To each his own.
