Several years ago, Kohler bought out the Italian diesel manufacturer Lombardini. Everything is now branded Kohler. Reports are pretty good for efficiency and packaging, but I don’t know anything about reliability.
Yes Kohler bought out Lombardini from Mark IV Inc in 2007. Lombardini made Water & Air cooled diesels and tractors up to 65hp and as far as I know they enjoyed a good reputation from market gardeners.
They weren't well known here as most farmers needed bigger hp. |
