That's the smallest machine they made at that time, a replacement of the 9040. I wouldn't consider its a 12 row machine but im sure it would lift a 12 row non chopping head and work in good conditions on flat ground, here you see 12 rows on 8090's and 8 rows on the 6090/7090 frame size. The variable head drive works very well on them in my limited 2 year experience. Speeds up and slows down quick at touch of toggle switch.
