southern MN | I’ve never signed up for it. Sometimes I feel like I’m one of 9 people in the USA, but then I don’t have a cell phone, either.
I do some high tech, Ive helped lots of people with their computers and tablets.
Anyhow, the times I look at the accessible Facebook, it seems a very primitive and unorganized mess. I have to look up phone numbers or business addresses and ‘deals’ or specials or menus through Facebook, and I’m always amazed at how crude it is.
I can see it useful for families keeping up on the grandkids and far away relatives, almost signed up a time or two just to do that.
Seems a lot of folk are on it to be part of the cool crowd, and become keyboard bullies where it is gratifying to ‘like’ things and rail against other things ‘me too’, and feel like you are in the popular crowd in high school. I might be off base, but it seems that is the trend with the social media.
I’m probably not much different myself here in newagtalk, so I shouldn’t say too much!
