SW minn | This market is going to give us gravy for new crop. Six months ago we were staring at 8 dollar beans and now we have 1160 new Crop cash beans. I can spend a dollar a bushel to guarantee me roughly $10.50 a bushel with crop insurance. And have the upside open. Should we be looking at how much it cost or how much more money we’re going to make compared to six months ago? To spend a dollar a bushel when it was 8.50 beans is hard to swallow. But isn’t it kind of a no brainer now? To buy (At the money new crop put) cost around a dollar a bushel but that only locks in your price not your yield or revenue | |
