Subject: Negative ivermectin study in JAMA publication

Pittsburg, Kansas
Making big headlines about ivermectin not working. The study was about patients with mild symptoms only, healthy individuals with no more than one comorbidity, young at average 37 years with under 8% over 65. Results were still mildly positive but not statistically significant.

So if you are relatively young and healthy without health issues and showing only mild symptoms ivermectin is likely to not have much positive effect. But then if you are all those things covid 19 is likely to not be much of a problem in the first place as the vast majority of people get over it without taking any medication at all.

Very good review of the study.
