ECWI | I am a big fan of Carhartt winter clothes. Because the items last so long I have probably only purchased 6 or 8 items in my lifetime. Have a heavy jacket, hooded sweatshirt, vest, insulated bibs, and unisulated bibs. Some of these are 25 years old already, just do not wear out.
For Christmas I got 2 pair of Carhartt insulated socks. Finally tried them this week. first pair I wore from 6am until noon and both had a hole in the heel. Put on the second pair after lunch and by 6pm both had holes also.
Called Carhartt not seeking a refund, just to let them know they have a defective product. Carhartt customer service is a disaster IMHO.
I will continue to buy their heavy workwear because it does last, was just very disapointed in their response or lack of.
