if you want ground clearance you need to run taller tires, no way around that. and in most cases to get taller tires you need a small lift kit. That can cause joint issues. But i have a canam defender 1000, idk if i would buy the 1000 again but its a nice machine. I see more and more canam's around here versus rangers
