| Ran into a solar farm promoter yesterday. Had a spirited discussion. Told him I'm not a fan of putting solar panels on a valuable resource like productive farmland.
He made the claim that the ethanol plants are emitting the amount of carbon closely behind coal plants in the US.
Is this true? Is there a net carbon savings or not?
I took this as the solar industry is starting a whisper campaign against ethanol. Just never know who the enemy is.
Be careful if you're thinking of crawling in bed with these guys.
